Soft Sculpture as Fashion

Aronson designed soft sculpture sold as Haute couture in the mid-seventies. Originally sold at Donald Pliner's RBCC in Beverly Hills, Aronson's
velvet bananas, icre cream cones, strawberries were worn by Cher and Margeaux Hemmingway as purses. Elton John wore chrome mylar and
gold lame versions of the banana's as ties on stage. Aronson made a special computerized ice cream cone sculpture tie for Elton John's 1976
fourth of July BiCentenniel Concert Performance in Boston.
